Topic: Fulfilment of Hope

3rd April, 2016 Memory Verse: " If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable." - 1 Cor. 15- 19 Bible Readings: Amos 9:11-15, Luke 24: 36-43 INTRODUCTION A hope may be described as an event whose outcome is yet unknown. When we then await the outcome, we say we have hope. A hope that remained unshakable over time is called faith. That is, a hope against hope (Rom. 4:18). This is a precondition for pleasing God ( Heb . 11:6) In our first Bible reading in the book of Amos , the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ was foretold . The disciples held on to this hope and the hope was eventually fulfilled in that book of Luke . A. WHY SHOULD WE HOPE ? a. To show our faith or build our trusts in God (Heb. 11:6) b.
