Consecration - 1

Activity: Sunday Sermon Anchor Scriptures: Judges 13: 1-16, 2 Tim. 2: 20-21 Scripture References: Heb . 12:2, Col.3:2, Rom . 12:1-2, 2 Cor. 6:14-18, Phil. 1:27; 2:5 Introduction Everything on earth and in heaven were made by God for different purposes. Even things made or created by man were so made for different purposes, too. It therefore follows that everything on earth and in heaven made by God and man, essentially, all things are made by God (John 3:27), are set apart for the purposes for which they were ere made. However, while many creations stand, being set apart for their purposes, most things made don't. It is my prayer that the grace to remain set apart for and even be used of God for our creation purposes shall rest and abide with us all, in Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen. Message From creation story, God, in His infinite mercies had set man, out of all His creations, aside for Himself. He thus made man the head and the comptroller-general of everything He create

Spiritual Aliveness

Activity : The Lord's Banquet ( Thursday Bible Exploration ) Anchor Scripture: Matthew 13: 24-30 Scripture References: Gen. 3: 1-13; 4: 1-14, 1 Sam. 28: 3-25, Psalm 51: 10-19, Introduction "Spiritual Aliveness" is a preclude to our Sunday Sermon, "Alive Still ?", as promised then by our Senior Teacher, the Holy Spirit of God Himself. As we all partake of this Banquet therefore, it is our prayer that the good Lord shall enlighten our hearts of understanding and quicken us to do the Word at all times in Jesus Christ's Mighty Name. Amen. Before the fall of man in Gen. 3, the thinking of Adam and Eve was that the death God prophesied concerning them if they ate the 'forbidden' fruit is the physical death; that which puts an end to one's physical existence. However, their wrongness dawned on them when their physical existence continued after they had eaten the fruit. But one important thing they had lost but which did not immediately dawned

Alive Still?

Activity: Sunday Sermon Anchor Scriptures: Revelation 3: 1-6, 2 Thes, 2: 9-11, 1 Tim. 5: 6 Scripture References:  Eph. 4:14, Mark 13: 22, 2 Cor. 2: 11; 4:4; 11: 3, 13-15, 1 Pet. 5: 8, 2 Pet 2: 1-3 Introduction The tendency in the world today for people, even believers, to be swiftly swept off their feet by charismatic spiritualism is not very uncommon, and the frequency at which this happens variously is very high. There is usually the temptation to marvel at the outward appearances cum 'service to God.' To this end, many people appear very fervent and spiritually 'hot' but their spirituality, when tested in the light of the Word of God, were very less than ere anticipated because most often their doctrines contains nothing, but what the Bible calls 'the wisdom of men.' I pray, as we go through this sermon together at His feet this morning that the good Lord shall grant us all, both the divine insight and the grace to be what He wants us to be in Him

Unrighteous Prosperity - II

Activity: The Lord’s Banquet (Bible Exploration) - Thursdays Anchor Scripture: Psalm 73, Job 21 Memory Verse: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation. 22: 12) Introduction Last week, our good Father served us, at His Banquet here, the first part of this lesson, telling us what “Unrighteous Prosperity” mean. As a way of quick revision, we were taught that “Unrighteous prosperity is the success, breakthrough, achievement, riches, wealth, affluence, influence, power, authority or fortune which one got through unGodly means, ways, methods and or strategies”. Just last week, one of my fathers in the Lord sent me a short video of the public presentation of a young man who worked as a Security Man in a Nigerian Bank. What made this man outstanding was that he found but returned to the bank’s authority, a sum of Ten Thousand US Dollars forgotten in his branch of the bank by a customer. The story
